THE BOY I KNOW

I know about a boy, he was my childhood friend who was sent away from the orphanage home because he was afflicted by a deadly disease.

This disease is more deadly than Ebola, he wept daily cuz it was an issue of blood, he has no where to go, not even a relation nor a shelter. Just his lonely self.

This disease eats him up like a virus, everyone warns their children not to go close to him. Even me the poet is afraid to write about him

This disease became so sevial that he called me "LETEKPA" I know we were friends once a time but not now. Listen to my words and do according to it

I know soon I will die, but if I die, wrap me with a wrapper, take my corpse to my home town, at the tomb of my parent, lay me down, send me away with the words of a love song. Burry me.
