The Teacher: A Catalogue of Knowledge

A teacher is a person who imparts knowledge to someone or group of people. He causes somebody to know something.

He is able to instruct, guide, direct or advice somebody imparting knowledge, skills which change and transform the life and behaviour of his students, thus teaching without effect is not teaching at all.

In order to achieve these laudable objectives, creativity, self-determination and ability to read wider than the students is required. Let us examine ourselves as teachers whether we are mere dramatist on the stage, only to demonstrate, without evaluation. If these facts are considered, our educational system will flow like River Niger and Benue without a hitch and will shower its enormous blessings on the learners with the help of the teachers as catalogue of knowledge.
