THE PROTEST

They are coming for you,
saintly dressed,
with democratically orchestrated guns,
and Modernized civilized bullets.
They will take you and your brothers too;
A plot to suppress,
and silent the echoing "We No Go Gree" songs.
So if you can, purchase now your caskets.

We have heard,
What they did to Giwa,
How they stylishly killed Dele.
From the cork of the gun 'krack',
A smear against King Sarowiwa,
To continually playing political 'Ogele'
to the pullling of the trigger 'Kpaa'.

Some soaked with chanting tears;
Men dressed in pure black,
Children whistle out tears in the background.
Youths echo "til we meet again" to dash their fears,
For indeed, their bright light has turn dark,
A sign of yet another stolen crown.

Again, they marshal out,
In groups and in their numbers;
Women, children, men, youths,
As they jointly give a shout,
You killed our brothers, also kill their fathers,
Without delay, shut!

Fearless!
Comrades of total freedom;
A message to their oppressors,
And advocates of democracy.
Without guns but with blasting unity songs,
We are coming for you and your successors,
When we arrive, we will expose your insanity.
