SCARS OF WAR – (Prologue)

When the application of senses and logic fails
There humanity derails
Dialogue and negotiation perish
And wars at last flourish.

Victors and vanquishers all alike
Blood bathe all in the hike
Pains and peril devoid of gain
Arms for alms the prize of pain.

Thus humanity buried in chaos
Nothing for you, nothing for us
Empires and states reduced to rubbles
Our future and hope all in shambles.

Blood hoozing faces
With no exception but to all races,
Bleeding wounds from gun’s mouth
And none dares to quench the fire like moth.

At last when the harm is done,
We rise to the painful dawn;
Casualties and spoils scattered all over
As hunger and starvation around us hover.

Homeless, hopeless and desolate survivors
Living to die by instalments
Like preys of deadly carnivors
Brooding the scars of war, the painful testaments
