On this wrecked earth, peace was meant to dwell
The flames of love and joy to fuel
A home as tranquil as a bethel
A harmonious holy cartel!
But now all I see is a dried well
Where humans daily duel
Duels that are not to duel
Humanity growing daily cruel
Splitting in guerrillas of due
As dialogue can’t settle the least quarrel
Hatred bidding love eternal farewell
Can things again ever go well?
Who can this chaos quell?
To this system I hope to be a rebel
A new story to tell
So I ring the rebellion bell,
Will you be my co-rebel ?
