Inferior Thoughts

I'd rather read than write

I'd rather listen than speak

I'd rather learn than teach

I'd rather obey than command

I'd rather serve than served

I'd rather follow than lead

For those who write are accountable to the Muse

Speakers will have their tongue judged.

Teachers conscience will be examined

Commanders are held responsible for battles lost

Those served gain nothing

And true leaders are worse off than servants.
